Yes, if you have provided banking instructions for your account, you
may follow normal redemption procedures to transfer money from your
GE Mutual Fund Account to your designated Bank Account. If you do
not have banking instructions on record, please provide your banking
instructions to us by filling out and returning theService Options
and Account Update Form .
How do I add beneficiaries on my Account?
To add, remove or change beneficiaries on your GE Mutual Fund IRA
Account, you must fill out and return the
Beneficiary
Designation/Change Form . To do the same on your GE Mutual Fund
Non-IRA Account aTransfer of Death Beneficiary Form is required.
How do I change the beneficiary(ies) on my IRA?
Use the GE Mutual Funds IRA Beneficiary Designation/Change form to designate or change your primary and contingent beneficiaries on
your GE Funds/Elfun Funds Traditional and Roth IRA account(s). Any resident of a Community Property State (Arizona, California,Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Washington, or Wisconsin) who does not designate his/her spouse as primary beneficiary, or designates more than half of the IRA account(s) to primary beneficiaries other than his/her spouse, must obtain the spouse's consent. If required, by signing the Consent of Spouse section, your spouse gives up his/her interest in the account to the extent necessary to accomplish the beneficiary designations you have indicated. Spouse's signature requires a Notary Public Seal. In order to process this Form you must sign the form and have your
signature guaranteed as described on the Form.
How do I change the registration as a result of the death of a GE Mutual
Fund Account Owner?
For a Single Account:
A Medallion Guaranteed letter of instruction, a New Account Form, a Transfer of
Registration Form, and an Affidavit of domicile are required to transfer an individually held
account. Depending on the state, an Inheritance Tax Waiver may also be required.
Joint Account:
If one of the joint owners is deceased, Medallion Guaranteed letter of instruction, a New Account
Form, a Transfer of Registration Form and an affidavit of domicile form are required to transfer the
registration of the account. If both the joint owners of the account are deceased, Medallion Guaranteed letter of instruction, a New Account Form, a Transfer of Registration Form and an affidavit of domicile form are required. Depending on the state, an Inheritance Tax Waiver may also be required.
For an IRA Account:
A Medallion Guaranteed letter of instruction, signed by all beneficiaries is required to transfer an IRA Account along with a New Account Form & a W9 form, for each beneficiary.
Trust Account:
On death of the trustee, a Medallion Guaranteed letter of instruction, a New Account Form and a Transfer of Registration Form signed by the Co-Trustees or Successor Trustees are required to transfer the registration of
the account.

Add check writing to your money market fund (if not done

Add banking instructions to transfer money into or out of your

A) You may ONLY set up automatic Direct Deposits into your GE Funds
account(s) THROUGH an "external" FUNDING AGENCY (E.G., Non-GE Payroll, Social Security, Pension, Bank Account, etc.) by following 2 easy steps:

How do I withdraw from my GE Mutual Fund Account?
Your GE Mutual Fund Account can be redeemed over the telephone, by accessing your account online, or by writing in to us. The maximum amount you are permitted to redeem in one day, if the request is made over the telephone or through Account Access, and a check is cut, is $50,000.00. If you maintain bank account instructions and want us to transfer the redemption to the bank account you have on record with us, there is no limit on the redemption amount.
I have not received my Quarterly Account Statement.
GE Mutual Fund Account Statements are run on a quarterly cycle:March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31st. Statements are mailed after each quarter end. If you have not received your GE Mutual Fund Account Statement and it is more than two weeks after one of the above dates, please call 1-800-242-0134 to speak with a customer service resentative.
I hold a Power of Attorney for the Shareowner, how do I give
instructions?
The procedure for transfer or redemption where a Power of Attorney is involved remains the same as a regular transfer or redemption with the only exception that a medallion guaranteed Letter Of Instruction, noting the shareholder and Power of Attorney names is required each time a request is made and must be dated within 60 days of being received. Is there a Minimum or Maximum amount that I can withdraw from my GE
Mutual Fund Account?
The minimum amount for wire redemption is $1000.00. There is a service charge of $10.00 and the proceeds are posted in the bank account, usually within 1 business day. The minimum amount for ACH redemption is $100.00 and it does not involve any fee. However, can take anywhere between 3-5 business days for the money sent by ACH to be posted in the account. In case of redemption checks there is no minimum withdrawal amount (GE Money Market Fund checks must be written for at least $100.00). There is no maximum limit on withdrawals made by Wire or ACH; however, the maximum withdrawal on
a single day through a check is $50,000.00. Written instructions from all the shareowners, with their individual signatures medallion guaranteed, are required if the proceeds of the redemption are directed anywhere other than the Bank of Record or Address of Record.
My name has changed, how do I change it on the Account?
A medallion signature guaranteed Letter Of Instruction with instruction to change the name or the One and the Same form is required. The letter of Instruction or the One and the Same form should have both the names (the previous name and the current name and respective signatures individually medallion guaranteed).Please click on the link to obtain the

When will I get my Tax forms?
Your Funds will be issuing consolidated 2009 tax forms that will combine your applicable 1099-DIV, 1099-B, and 1099-INT information into one concise form. The form, along with supplemental tax information guides, will be mailed by February 15th and made available online shortly thereafter.
For IRA shareholders, necessary 1099-R tax forms, along with supplemental tax information guides, will be mailed by February 1st and made available online shortly thereafter.
Please note: 1099-DIV forms will not be issued for income and capital gain amounts of less than $10.00 for the year.
Form 5498 (For IRA Contributions) will be mailed in May to all IRA Shareowners that made Contributions or Rollovers in the previous year.
