| How do I add beneficiaries on my Account? |
To add, remove or change beneficiaries on your GE Mutual Fund IRA Account, you must fill out and return the Beneficiary Designation/Change Form. To do the same on your GE Mutual Fund Non-IRA Account a Transfer of Death Beneficiary Form is required.

| How do I change the beneficiary(ies) on my IRA? |
Use the GE Mutual Funds IRA Beneficiary Designation/Change form to designate or change your primary and contingent beneficiaries on your GE Funds/Elfun Funds Traditional and Roth IRA account(s). Any resident of a Community Property State (Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Washington, or Wisconsin) who does not designate his/her spouse as primary beneficiary, or designates more than half of the IRA account(s) to primary beneficiaries other than his/her spouse, must obtain the spouse's consent. If required, by signing the Consent of Spouse section, your spouse gives up his/her interest in the account to the extent necessary to accomplish the beneficiary designations you have indicated. Spouse's signature requires a Notary Public Seal.
In order to process this Form you must sign the form and have your signature guaranteed as described on the Form.

| How do I change registration as a result of the death of GE Mutual Fund Account Owner? |
- For a Single Account:
A Death Certificate, a New Account Form and a Transfer of Registration Form are required to transfer an individually held account. If the decedent shareowner's estate is being probated, a court certificate is also required appointing a legal representative; if the estate is not being probated, then a small estate affidavit form is required.
- Joint Account:
If one of the joint owners is deceased, the decedent's death certificate, a New Account Form, a Transfer of Registration Form and an affidavit of domicile form are required to transfer the registration of the account. If both the joint owners of the account are deceased, both the shareowner's death certificates, a New Account Form, a Transfer of Registration Form and an affidavit of domicile form are required. Also if the second decedent's estate is being probated, a court certificate is required appointing a legal representative; if the estate is not being probated then a small estate affidavit form is required.
- For an IRA Account:
A Death Certificate and a Letter Of Instruction, signed by all beneficiaries are required to transfer an IRA Account along with a New Account Form & a W9 form.
- Trust Account:
On death of the trustee, a death certificate for the trustee, a certification of the trust agreement form, a New Account Form and a Transfer of Registration Form signed by the Co-Trustees or Successor Trustees are required to transfer the registration of the account.

| Your GE Mutual Fund Account can be redeemed over the telephone, by accessing your account online, or by writing in to us. The maximum amount you are permitted to redeem in one day, if the request is made over the telephone or through Account Access, and a check is cut, is $50,000.00. If you maintain bank account instructions and want us to transfer the redemption to the bank account you have on record with us, there is no limit on the redemption amount. |

| The procedure for transfer or redemption where a Power of Attorney is involved remains the same as a regular transfer or redemption with the only exception that the Power of Attorney Document and a medallion guaranteed Letter Of Instruction are required each time a request is made and both have to be dated within 60 days of being received. | Is there a Minimum or Maximum amount that I can withdraw from my GE Mutual Fund Account? |
| The minimum amount for wire redemption is $1000.00. There is a service charge of $10.00 and the proceeds are posted in the bank account, usually within 1 business day. The minimum amount for ACH redemption is $100.00 and it does not involve any fee. However, can take anything between 3-5 business days for the money sent by ACH to be posted in the account. In case of redemption checks there is no minimum withdrawal amount (GE Money Market Fund checks must be written for at least $100.00). There is no maximum limit on withdrawals made by Wire or ACH; however, the maximum withdrawal on a single day through a check is $50,000.00. Written instructions from all the shareowners, with their individual signatures medallion guaranteed, are required if the proceeds of the redemption are directed anywhere other than the Bank of Record or Address of Record.

- 1099 B (For Non-IRA Accounts) are mailed in last week of January every year
- 1099 Div (For Non-IRA Accounts) are mailed in last week of January every year
- 1099 R (For IRA Accounts) are mailed in last week of January every year to all Shareowners who received a distribution of more than $10.00
- 5498 (For IRA Contributions) are mailed in May every year and are sent to all Shareowners for Previous year Contributions or Rollovers
