As a member of the Elfun Society, you and members of your family*, have the opportunity to invest in a family of open-end mutual funds with no sales charge. Because the Elfun Funds are available to family members, they may be included in your estate planning efforts. The Funds provide a broad range of investment objectives designed to meet an individual investor's needs and objectives. You may also review the Elfun Funds Annual Report for additional information on Fund objectives and Schedule of Investments.
To open an account:
Follow the below steps to open an account in the Elfun Funds. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the GE Mutual Funds Customer Service Center at 1-800-242-0134.

To submit an application by mail:
Step 1:
Choose a Fund and review the Prospectus. Also, for important information about how we use and protect personal information, please read the Elfun Funds Privacy Policy. If you are opening an IRA account, please also review the Elfun Funds Traditional or Roth Disclosure Statement/Custodial Agreement, and the Custodian's Privacy Policy.
Step 2:
Select and complete an application;
Step 3:
Send your application to the Elfun Funds;
  • After you have printed out, completed and signed your application, enclose it with your check made out to Elfun Funds.
  • The minimum investment is $500 per Fund with a minimum subsequent investment of $100 unless you choose payroll deductions* which can be as little as $25.
  • Mail your application with your check to:

Online Account Access
Use Account Access to view your account balance, exchange, purchase and or/redeem shares, update distribution options and much more. It's easy to begin. Simply enter your social security number and establish your PIN.
Electronic Delivery of Quarterly Account Statement
Electronic delivery lets you eliminate your paper copy, thereby reducing Fund printing and mailing expenses. Go into Account Login and click on Electronic Delivery Consent on the Account Portfolio page.
Automated Voice Response System
Our interactive Voice Response System recognizes voice commands for commonly asked questions and requests, such as:
  • What's my balance?
  • I want to order a statement;
  • I need mailing instructions or I want to change my PIN.
This feature makes it easier to obtain account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And you can always speak to a Representative by pressing 0 or saying "Transfer" during regular business hours.

Information on the Funds' principal investments, objectives, income distribution and risk/volatility can be viewed by clicking here. More complete information about each Fund can be found in the prospectus.
Daily Pricing and Monthly Performance
Click on Prices and Performance for the most recent closing prices, and daily pricing percentage changes, as well as to search historical pricing. Or select Long-Term Performance to view average annual total returns for one-, three-, five-, and ten-year and Since Inception through the end of the previous month. Bookmark this page for easy and frequent access.
